It’s the most wonderful time of the year…holly jolly….fa la la la la…. Truth is, this is a BIG time of year for the bar and restaurant industry and I love it! Every year we bring back some old favorites, but also like to switch up some cocktail recipes to make them more trendy and of course, a little lighter! Your bartender is looking out for you! From Christmas Eve through New Years Day, there is always a reason to celebrate. Check out some of these cocktails and spice up your season!

White Christmas Mojito
Ummm…seriously like all of my favorite things in a glass! And it is so pretty and festive! Oh…and easy!
INGREDIENTS
juice of 1 lime8 leaves mint1 tablespoon sugar2 tablespoons white rum1 tablespoon coconut rum1/4 cup canned coconut milksparkling water for toppingpomegranate arils for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
In a glass, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until the leaves have broken down. Fill the glass half way with ice.In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk and pulse until smooth. Pour over the ice and stir to combine. Top with sparkling water, mint and pomegranate. Drink!
Cranberry Mule
No introduction necessary. Pretty sure ANYTHING “Mule” is cool right now.
INGREDIENTS

2 oz . unsweetened cranberry juice3 oz . ginger beer1 1/2 oz . spiced rum1 oz . simple syrupIce , for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
Place a handful of ice in a copper mugCombine the cranberry juice, ginger beer, rum and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.Shake until combined, then pour over ice.Serve with sugared (opt) cranberries as garnish, and enjoy immediately

Winter Sangria
Everyone at your gathering will like this one. Even your grandma.
INGREDIENTS
1 bottle of sweet red wine
1 bottle sparkling cran-apple cider
2 clementines, sliced thin, peel on
2 granny smith apples, cored and diced
1/2 cup pomegranate arils
1 cup cranberries sliced in half
Rosemary to garnish each glass
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix wine, cider, and fruit in a large pitcher. Serve over ice and garnish with rosemary.
Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer

Sparkling wine is fabulous for the New Year, but isn’t it fun to make it a bit more exciting?
INGREDIENTS
1 bottle prosecco2 ounces peach schnapps4 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice4 ounces pom juice1 small bottle mango flavored soda water6-8 sprigs rosemary1 fresh pomegranate.5 cup sugar1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
Add 1 cup of water to a small pan with 2-3 sprigs of rosemary, bring to a boil.Add sugar to boiling water and stir until sugar dissolves.Remove from heat, strain rosemary leaves and set to cool.Clean and de-seed pomegranate. Set seeds aside.Pour Prosecco evenly into 4 cocktail glasses.Add .5 ounces of peach schnapps, .5 ounces rosemary simple syrup, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 ounce pom juice and a splash of mango soda water to each glass and stir.Add 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds to each glass.Allow the pomegranate seeds time to float to the top of the glass and garnish with 1 sprig of rosemary.
